Hannah currently resides in Miami, Florida where she lives with her husband, Pete. She works in commercial real estate and enjoys competing with her show horse, and flower arranging in her spare time. Originally from Texas, Hannah immediately felt at home when she came across her reining barn in Southwest Ranches, where the photos were taken. Through her trainer, she purchased her horse, Homer, who is the real star of the shoot. Hannah’s love of horses started at a young age, much like her love of fashion. Marrying the two only felt natural for the photoshoot. A lover of thoughtful curation, Hannah hopes to design and build her dream farm one day, where she can continue to explore and develop her love of horses, flowers and design.

Can you describe your creative process when putting together a photoshoot or blog post?

First I like to know what the theme is or, create one myself. From there I start to build and create images in my mind of how I think that theme should be portrayed. I like cohesive contrast, I think it gives the viewer something interesting to look at. I’m not afraid to mix textures, colors or ideas together that you wouldn’t normally pair, as long as there is that cohesion. I never want things to look confused or contrived.

Can you discuss any personal style icons or influences that have inspired your own fashion journey?

I’m a big fan of old Hollywood as well as fashion from the 1950-1970s. Audrey Hepburn will forever be a style icon of mine. My mother and grandmother absolutely influenced my personal style, I was fortunate enough to constantly be surrounded by beautiful things—my grandmother was an interior designer and owned an art gallery. I love looking at other cultures and their fashion trends—I’m a fan of French, Italian and Korean fashion in particular. I mostly try to stay true to myself first and foremost. If I don’t feel confident in it, I’m not going to wear it.
