Tell us something about you. Maybe your life, profession, habit, dream.
I’ve been a creative artist all my life. My crafts range from photography, music and acting. I make a living as a photographer and my habits include learning and practicing the art of photography. As for my dream, I’m living it.
What makes you choose this profession?
I love telling stories through imagery.
Could you share how do you expand your vision of art, fashion?
I expand my vision of art through film, music and other creative artists.
In your daily routine, what resources you like to learn new things about art, fashion?
Business of fashion magazine is my number one resource when it comes to staying on top of fashion. Artistically, I admire Lindsay Adler’s work.
Is art, fashion important in your life? Why?
Fashion and art play a huge part in my life and are extremely important to me as I experience them both as one. Fashion is art — it’s the art we live our lives in, the art of the everyday and mundane. Fashion is inspired by art and vice versa.
If you have a superpower or talent, which one do you wish to have? Why?
I’d want to fly so I could photograph skylines around the world.
Do you have any problem on the way of your profession? How did you solve it?
The unexpected will arise on the job, remain calm and improvise.
Who are the people impact most in your profession? What do you learn from them?
Lindsay Adler, Desiree Mattson and Matt Barnes. Their post work is amazing, I learn a lot of post-editing techniques from them.
How do you think about your work? Is it what you like, or simply saying a dream?
I enjoy the work I produce because it’s always different. Whether its Fashion, editorial or fitness I always discover something new.
In modern society, lots of people want to be famous, influential. How do you think about it?
I think it’s important to be confident in yourself and your abilities. Most people want to be famous because they are seeking validation from others.
To become famous, what kind of qualities do you think the person should have?
Becoming “famous” is a by-product of the hard work, discipline, patience and commitment you put in everyday working on your craft.
What will be the suggestions to new photographers?
Shoot everyday.
What is your favorite camera? Why?
I don’t have a favorite camera. If it shoots, I’m happy.
How do you prepare your new shoot?
I always create a mood board when I prepare for a shoot.
Where your inspiration comes from?
My inspiration comes from everything artistic.
What are the most difficulties during your shoots?
Sunlight is difficult to shoot in because you need to constantly adjust your camera settings due to the movement of the sun on your subject.
How often you create new works?
Almost everyday.
What is the most important thing for creating new work?
Taking risks and challenging myself.
Do you have that feeling? When you have a look at the work you created 1 or 2 years ago, you still think it is in fashion.
I think work I’ve done two years ago is still relevant, I’ve just evolved as a photographer.
Will you still create new works when you are old?
Absolutely.
