Veronika Walker is a model, philanthropist, entrepreneur, and the reigning Mrs. Edinburgh 2025, currently preparing to compete for Mrs. UK World 4th of April 2025. Born and raised in Lithuania by a resilient single mother, Veronika’s early life was shaped by adversity. Her pageant journey started at 16, when she won Miss Vilnius. At 18, she moved to London with £500 in her pocket, no place to stay, and no knowledge of the English language—armed only with determination and a dream for a better future.

Her journey from survival to sovereignty is one of remarkable transformation. From working as a hotel cleaner to becoming a manager in the hospitality industry and later a successful business owner, Veronika has built her life with grit, grace, and vision. She is now the proud mother of three, a fluent speaker of four languages, and holds degrees in both music and business.

Over the past two years, Veronika has raised over £100,000 for multiple charities, supporting causes ranging from cancer research and premature baby care to women escaping domestic violence—a struggle she has personally overcome. Her philanthropic mission is woven into everything she does, from pageantry to fashion to public speaking.

In the world of modelling, Veronika brings poise and intention. Each image she creates is a reflection of inner strength, feminine power, and a commitment to using beauty as a vehicle for impact. Whether she’s gracing the stage or standing behind a campaign, her presence speaks volumes—not just of elegance but of evolution.

With a regal yet grounded energy, Veronika Walker represents a new era of modern women: resilient, radiant, and relentlessly purpose-driven.

Can you share your journey from Lithuania to the UK? What challenges did you face, and how did you find the strength to rebuild yourself?

I came to London from Lithuania at 18, with £500 in my pocket, no place to stay, and no knowledge of the language. I was chasing a dream and hoping for a better life, even if I didn’t yet know what that life would look like. The early years were full of hardship—working as a cleaner in the hotel, teaching myself English, working my way up to the waitress, and eventually becoming a cigar sommelier before managing teams in hospitality. But it wasn’t just about working hard. It was about self-belief and self-growth.

My life took an unforeseen turn, and I found myself in a violent relationship that shattered my self-esteem and my dreams. However, I discovered the strength to break free, seeking safety in Scotland, where I found refuge and the love of my life. This was one of my hardest chapters. That’s when my journey of rebuilding became my mission to inspire.

You embody empowerment and resilience in front of the camera—how do you channel these qualities into your work?

Before every shoot, I remind myself who I’m representing: the woman who once felt small, silent, and stuck—and the woman I’ve become. My poses, expressions, and presence isn't just technical—they come from my emotional experience. I channel the moments I overcame, escaping my abuser, building a business from scratch, and raising three children while raising awareness and vital funds of over £100,000 the causes are very close to my heart, such as Women’s Aid, Neonatal Unit, and Cancer Research UK. There’s fire and softness in me, and I let both live in front of the lens. Empowerment, for me, is an energy—and I carry it with pride into every frame.

Competing for the title of Mrs UK World is an incredible achievement. What motivated you to take on this challenge, and what does the title mean to you?

For me, Mrs UK World represents a powerful platform as it embodies the mission of inspiring others and upholding the values of womanhood and friendship. Mrs UK World is more than a crown—it’s a cause. It’s a stage where elegance and purpose can co-exist and where real women with real stories are seen and celebrated. I chose this path to stand for something bigger than beauty. Competing allows me to amplify the voices of women overcoming domestic violence and premature children in need of care. To hold that title would mean holding space for impact, visibility, and legacy. I don't just want to wear the crown—I want to use it.

How do you merge fashion with advocacy and philanthropy in your work?

Fashion is my visual language. It draws people in—and then I use that attention to spotlight the causes I care about. Whether it’s wearing symbolic colours, using shoots to support awareness campaigns, or partnering with brands that give back, I make sure style is always in service of something greater. I’ve raised over £100,000 in the last two years alone for great causes incredibly close to my heart: Cancer Research, Women’s Aid, and Neonatal Unit. Pageantry and modelling gave me a platform—but charity gave it heart. The merge happens naturally when every look, every shoot, and every appearance is rooted in meaning.

You’ve raised over £100,000 for a variety of life-changing charities—a truly remarkable achievement. What inspired you to support these causes, and how do you continue to make an impact through your platform?

My passion for charity is deeply personal. I’ve supported organisations like Edinburgh Women’s Aid, Cancer Research UK, Alex’s Wish, Simpsons Special Care Babies Neonatal Unit, Prostate Cancer UK, and the My Name'5 Doddie Foundation—not just because they do vital work, but because each one reflects a part of my story or someone I care about. Having been through hardship myself, I know how life-changing support can be during someone’s darkest chapter. My twins were born prematurely, and I’ve been refused first cuddles as two little ones were rushed to intensive care, fighting for their lives.

What inspires me is knowing that every pound raised brings hope, healing, or a second chance to someone in need. I continue to fundraise through events, campaigns, and collaborations—always using my platform in pageantry and modelling to give these causes visibility. For me, charity isn’t a side mission—it’s at the core of everything I do. That’s where real beauty lives in the lives we touch.

What have been some of the most defining moments of your career so far?

There have been many milestones, but a few hold deep personal meaning. I have achieved a business degree in the UK, received recognition in the People of Excellence in the Food and Beverage Management Industry award, and Managed a property portfolio. Being Mrs Edinburgh 2025 was an incredible honour—not just because of the title, but because it gave me the opportunity to represent a city that became my safe place and my home. Preparing to represent Edinburgh at the Mrs. UK World competition on April 4th feels like the next level of that journey. It’s not just about stepping onto a stage—it's about standing for resilience, growth, and purpose. I hope to make my city proud and hopefully represent the country in Las Vegas at the international level at Mrs. World. Another defining moment has been raising over £100,000 for vital causes in the last two years alone and being named 1st Runner-Up at Ms. Great Britain 2023. But above all, the most powerful moments have been personal: finding the courage to start over and the grace to turn my story into service.

What’s next for you in your journey—both in fashion and in your advocacy work?

The next chapter is incredibly exciting. On April 4th, I’ll compete for Mrs. UK World—a title representing not only beauty but also leadership, voice, responsibility, and the mission of inspiring others and upholding the values of womanhood and friendship. Should I win, I’ll proudly carry the UK flag onto the international Mrs. World stage, using the platform to elevate further the causes I support—especially women affected by domestic abuse and children in medical need. I want to continue working with conscious, story-driven brands that align with my values in fashion. Beyond the runway, I’m laying the groundwork for a future foundation focused on empowering women to rebuild after trauma. Every step ahead is about combining visibility with value—because that’s the kind of legacy I want to leave behind.
