Carolina, you have had an incredible modeling career and are known in many countries. You have worked in Mexico, Dubai, England, and Spain. How did your modeling career start, and who introduced you to success? What has been the most memorable moment or event in your modeling career?

From a young age, I always loved the world of modeling. My career took off after I won a beauty contest at my school. That magical moment opened the door to several opportunities in the industry. The most memorable moment of my career was walking in Dubai Fashion Week. Being on the runway, surrounded by so much creativity and talent, was an experience I will never forget.

What has been the most challenging part of your modeling career, working in different countries and cultures? Which of the cities you have worked in has impressed you the most, and why?

The most challenging part has been being away from my loved ones. I missed important moments, like the birth of my niece, and not being able to celebrate with my family was tough. However, sometimes we have to make sacrifices to achieve our dreams, and my family has always supported me. I love traveling and getting to know new cultures and people, and each city has its charm. Of all the cities, London impressed me the most. The mix of cultures and the vibrant energy of the city made me feel at home. Besides, fashion in London is bold and full of life, which inspired me a lot.

Why did you decide to take a break from modeling and move into the family business in the hospitality industry in Madrid? What attracts you to working in the hospitality industry compared to a modeling career?

I decided to step back from modeling when my mother came to Spain with the dream of continuing the family business. I have always had a great passion for cooking, so I decided to support my mother and focus on this. Hospitality attracts me because it's about creating experiences and making people happy, something that fills me with satisfaction. Additionally, enjoying local and homemade meals has shown me the importance of keeping culinary traditions alive.

What experiences from your modeling career have you transferred to your current work in the family business? What products and services do you offer, and what is unique about them?

Traveling the world and getting to know different cultures has given me a unique perspective. I have enjoyed the world's cuisines and learned that traditional recipes, especially those prepared by mothers and grandmothers, are the ones that truly endure over time. In our business, we offer Colombian food with a European fusion, using high-quality products. I grew up in a family that instilled in us the love for good Colombian seasoning, and that is reflected in every dish we serve.

How do you plan to develop your career in the future? Will you expand the family business, return to modeling, or explore new directions?

At the moment, I enjoy doing what I am passionate about: cooking and managing the family business. I model as a hobby, but I am aware that youth and beauty do not last forever. Although modeling remains an important part of my life, I am focused on expanding our business and creating new experiences for our customers. I do not rule out the possibility of returning to modeling in the future, but I am also open to exploring new directions and opportunities that come my way. For me, the most important thing is to keep growing and learning at every stage of my life.
