Tell us something about you. Maybe your life, profession, habit, dream.

Talking about yourself is probably the hardest thing, you never know what to begin with. Well, let me start with the priorities in my life, these are my family: my husband and my children. I love my family infinitely and every day with them brings me a lot of joy. All of my hobbies are connected with my family’s interests. The main habit I have developed is to live happily every single day.

What makes you choose this profession?

I majored in History. As a historian I used to spend a lot of time in archives researching different epochs. Illustrations of the everyday life from the past have always interested me. At some point I decided that I also wanted to try to stop time in photos. Afterall, this is an incredibly exciting thing to do. Photography freezes time as no book ever could.

Could you share how you expand your vision of art, fashion?

Fashion is changeable. One thing is trending today, tomorrow it can be something different. Therefore, I do not follow fashion in photography, but rather focus on the values that my works can instill in people.

In your daily routine, what resources do you like to learn new things about art, fashion?

To be honest, I don’t follow fashion, I follow ideas. The ideas that can transform and inspire in everyday life.

Is art, fashion important in your life? Why?

Art, of course, makes a significant contribution to my life. I love to explore the works of great artists who even centuries ago so skillfully preserved beauty, culture and style in their paintings.

If you have a superpower or talent, which one do you wish to have? Why?

What do you mean by “if”? Everyone has super strengths and super talents. I am no exception. I have this ability to make friends. I have many friends in different corners of the world. My grandmother said that the words we say never disappear, they remain on the planet like radio waves.

My superpower is to find something good in each person and share this information with them, in this way leaving as many good vibes in the world as possible.

Do you have any problems with your profession? How did you solve it?

The main professional problem for me is the tsunami of trends that has swiped the society off its feet. I do not focus on them, so sometimes it is not easy to stay relevant and highly paid.

Who do people impact most in your profession? What do you learn from them?

My husband has the greatest influence on my professional activity. I learn consistency and perseverance from him.

What do you think about your work? Is it what you like, or simply saying a dream?

I love my job. A drop of happiness is added to my life with each completed project. Now I can’t even imagine my life without photography.

In modern society, lots of people want to be famous, influential. What do you think about it?

Fame is a rather delicate tool. You cannot become financially independent on fame only, but power gives you this lever. In photography, power is in the hands of those who have knowledge and managerial skills. I think there is nothing wrong with the fact that a person seeks to have power and fame, the main thing is to be intelligent enough to use it all wisely.

To become famous, what kind of qualities do you think the person should have?

Traits that the most successful people have are consistency, integrity, self-discipline and perseverance. By the way, if you apply all these traits and do not have talent, talent will eventually develop.

What will be the suggestions to new photographers?

Take photos every day. Listen to criticism only from those people who have achieved what you dream of achieving and take this criticism as very valuable advice. Never listen to the criticism of those who do not have the results you need.

What is your favorite camera? Why?

My favorite camera is Canon 5 d mark 4. Why this one? In my opinion, it is simply the best.

How do you prepare your new shoot?

This is a whole story in itself. First, I study the person I am going to photograph, after that I come up with photoshoot ideas, then I create references that will serve as possible photoshoot sketches and finally I select the right location.

Where does your inspiration come from?

This is what I started my interview with. I draw my inspiration, strength, goals and plans from my family. I find joy, comfort and happiness in my family. When you are happy, you see inspiration everywhere…

What are the most difficulties during your shoots?

I like to work with pulsed light, which is something very few people actually enjoy. Therefore, the only difficulty is to persuade the person for flash photography to be used during the shoot.

How often do you create new works?

I work as a photographer every day, so each day I have a lot of new material.

What is the most important thing for creating new work?

The most important thing in creating a new work is to preserve the person’s true charisma.

Do you have that feeling? When you have a look at the work you created 1 or 2 years ago, you still think it is in fashion.

I am very self-critical and sometimes even yesterday’s photos do not seem creative enough to me, let alone the photos from a year ago.

Will you still create new works when you are old?

I want to grow old with a camera in my hands.
